When Nelson first came to FAD, he was dirty and unkempt. His mother was very abusive toward him. He had a very hard life. Nelson had anger attacks, cried a lot, and threw things.
FAD has completely transformed the life of this young boy. At the end of 2025, he came forward and accepted Jesus as his Savior. FAD has been working with his mother to be a better mom.
Nelson is now a happy, friendly boy who enjoys coming to FAD and partaking in every event and being with his new friends. He loves to help the teachers. During the VBS program this year, he came up front and gave the opening prayer.
